Since 2006, the Boulder Bassoon Quartet has impressed a wide audience through substantive, engaging performances. At home in a variety of venues, the Quartet is dedicated to expanding the repertoire for the bassoon quartet in a variety of genres through new arrangements and original compositions.

Four bassoons, four artists
Members Michael Christoph, Brian Jack, Thomas Kent Hurd, Ethan Turner boast eight music degrees plus additional years of study.

They perform regularly with Colorado's finest ensembles, such as Colorado Symphony, Colorado Music Festival, Colorado Ballet, Boulder Chamber Orchestra. Dr. Christoph teaches at Metro State University, and Dr. Jack is Visiting Assistant Professor at Colorado State University.
